What is hexagon connections?
Hexagon connections is where the teacher creates some questions in the target language and places them onto a hexagon using QR codes. Each student will get a copy of the hexagon and questions. Students watch the questions via the QR code and draw out their answers.
What is done with the completed hexagons?
After students have drawn out their answers to the questions, the hexagon is cut out and placed on a wall in the classroom. The catch is they have to be hung making connections with another student in the classroom. This means when the first person has completed the hexagon they place it on the wall. Then as others finish they must study the hexagons already up on the wall to find one that shares something in common with them.
